Over the weekend the Turkish Ambassador to Sierra Leone His Excellency Ambassador Burak Rende through the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIฬ‡KA) donated cassava and rice processing machines to the office of the First Lady to boost President Bioโ€™s Big 5 agenda on Feed Salone.
In her Facebook post, First Lady Fatima Maada Bio said. โ€œI sincerely appreciate His Excellency Ambassador Burak Rende, the Turkish Ambassador accredited to Sierra Leone, for leading the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIฬ‡KA) in donating cassava and rice processing machines to my office.
This generous contribution will significantly boost agricultural productivity and support local farmers, especially women, by equipping them with essential tools to enhance food processing and economic opportunities.โ€
