Over the weekend, Inspector General of Police William Fayia Sellu joined fellow alumni in Kenema to lead the 74th Thanksgiving Anniversary march-past. As a dedicated member of the Kenema Old Students Association (KOSA), the IGPโ€™s participation underscored the eventโ€™s theme of unity and reflection. The annual celebration highlights the enduring legacy of the Kenema Government Secondary School in developing Sierra Leoneโ€™s national leadership.
Kenemaโ€™s premier educational institution, Government Secondary School Kenema, celebrated its 74th anniversary from April 21โ€“26, 2026. The milestone coincided with the 51st anniversary of the Kenema Old Students Association (KOSA). Known affectionately as โ€œK-School,โ€ the week-long event brought together alumni and current students to honour the schoolโ€™s long-standing legacy of excellence in the region.
