As part of ongoing efforts to boost economic development and sustainable development financing, UNDP in Sierra Leoneโ€™s Resident Representative, Fredrick Ampiah, met with the two Deputy Governors of the Bank of Sierra Leone, Mr. Alfred W.B Samba and Dr. Joseph Tucker.

The discussion explored how UNDP and the Bank can partner to

๐Ÿ”ท Support Sierra Leoneโ€™s assessment for a sovereign credit rating.

๐Ÿ”ท Expand opportunities for youth entrepreneurship and innovation.

๐Ÿ”ท Advance preparations for the upcoming National Policy Conference on Sustainable Development Financing and Data.

Senior officials from both institutions also participated, reaffirming a strong commitment to work together in building a more resilient and sustainable future for Sierra Leone.

UNDP in Sierra Leone, stand ready to continue supporting national partners to mobilize resources, strengthen institutions, and create opportunities, especially for young people to thrive.
