According to a letter titledย โOverdue Payment and Demand for Settlementโ dated 24th June 2025, Pavi Fort AL Associates Limited owes JMAN Group of Companies ( SL ) Limited a colossal sum of money totaling Twenty-one Million sixty-seven thousand, nine hundred Leones and ninety-six cents ( Le 21, 067, 900. 96) in supplies of Petroleum products made to the company from January 2023 up to date.
Part of the letter reads: โWe are writing to express our extreme disappointment and frustration regarding the outstanding payment of Le 21, 067, 900 .96 (Twenty-one Million, six-seven thousand, nine hundred Leones and ninety-six cents) that your company has owed us for over two years.โ
The letter demanding overdue payment by Pavi Fort AL Associates furthered that โthe money has lost its value and it has caused us undue stress and frustration in our operations. Itโs safe to say that your company almost put us out of business at some point, and this is the honest truth.โ
In search of a peaceful and amicable settlement of the huge debt, a tripartite agreement between JMAN Group of Companies on one hand, Pavi Fort, AL Associates, and Sky Bank ended in a boomerang as PAVI failed to honour its obligation.ย It was so embarrassing that the bank threatened legal action against the JMAN Group of Companies.
No salary for Pavi Fort workers for months now. More details later.
